Your duties are all the normal positions (entrance - controls and everything in between). Training involves reading over the manual for the coaster, practicing the positions, and taking a "visual board" test, which quizzes you on basic information (height requirement, etc) as well as safety procedures for the ride. Once you pass the test, and you can take it as many times as you need, you can operate controls. All the other positions you can do without passing the test. You also have to have your training checklists on file, which involve basic safety procedures for all the rides in general. It's not hard to train for a coaster, and they're a blast to run!
