Coaster Mania 2011

I don't know if this topic has been created yet but I am planning on attending Coaster Mania at Cedar Point for the first time. I wanted to know certain details about the event.
1. How will they know that I have a membership to Coasterbuzz or Great Ohio coaster club? I have a platinum pass, but I"m sure they'll need the other pass from one of those websites.
2. What times do they usually have the ride times for each ride?
3. Do I have to meet in a certain place at the park at a certain time?

At the front entrance ticket gates there is one designated for coastermania guests. Show your pass and coaster club card and they will gave you a lanyard with the coastermania schedule on it. You also get your meal tickets here.

Friday evening is the convention center meeting with the food and the keynote (Kinzel). This is usually fun and you can meet a lot of cool people too.

I've got a question as well. Registration starts at 9am but once you're registered do you get access to the park or do you have to wait with everyone else till 10am?

Depends on which day you're talking about. If it's Friday, you'll probably need a platinum pass or resort pass to get in at 9. If it's Saturday, the morning ERT starts long before 9, so you'll already be in the park.

I had a question. In case I'm late for registration on Friday, who would I report to? I'm thinking I'll get there at 9 which is when I'm supposed to be there, but in case I'm running like a half hour late, would I still be alright as far as registering? I already have my platinum pass and my Great Ohio Coaster Club pass which is what I need to get in the event.

Do you think that Windseeker will be up and running for Coaster Mania ?

Shawn, ticket booths 12 and 13 should be open all day. I'll be heading to CP today around 12:30pm for Coaster Mania. Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day at my favorite park. " RIDE ON"

got there about 7:30pm,rode Raptor,MF,Maverick,lines were 'decent'.

ERT TTD,got one ride in,TTD broke after a rollback,was taking a long time to 'fix' so the hell with that,left at midnight. Heading back tomorrow/today.

I wanted to say that it was fun as heck meeting some of you and getting a chance to ride paddlewheel excursion and crash!

You all are cool! Hope to hang with you all at the point!

Also I am re-enlisting at the Point (in the navy)! You arew welcome to come watch. I'll post the date as soon as possible. Will be some time early July and have been talking to Public relations to get me to do it in Dragster's station.

Crash?

we were at the inventer seen and the boat lost its steering and right into the trees! I know it doesn't sound exciting.... but the whole event was funny as hell!

Oh, I thought you crashed into another boat ahaha. Yeah this happened to me two years ago, around the same spot. One second the captain is telling the joke and then we go head on into the wood bumpers on the side of the lagoon!

LOL o we just didnt bumb .... we were stuck hard! lol trust me...

Thank god it was only a three hour tour...

The tour guide was funny as hell as he keept making jokes and kept every on calm LOL
