I get the impression that coaster crews will be co-ed this year. Am I right about this? If so, any idea why? I don't really care either way (provided team members aren't distracting each other, safety's no accident), just curious.

They started being co-ed during the middle of last summer. As far as I'm aware, it was because of short staffing problems...putting people wherever they were needed.

Yes, the crews are definitely co-ed. Some of them have one male and one female TL & ATL also. I was told a reason for this but I don't really wanna expand on it on this board, it kinda sounds like it should go into the rumors thread heh.

Animals is right, I was talking to the asst manager of rides yesterday at my school, and he sayed it was easier to make them coed for staffing purposes.
