Closing Weekend 07!

Oh boy are the midways going to be funny come Sunday. I can just see it now, CP fans acting out Charlie and the Chocolate Factory scenes. I guess I can dress as Mr.Slugsworth and try to scam someones ticket.:)

What an incredible weekend. The weather behaved for the most part, even though it was a bit cold (nothing like last year though).

Started out on Friday night with a rollback on the second train on Top Thrill Dragster! It was great to just enjoy the park with friends all weekend.

Sunday started with another rollback on the 4th train out on Dragster, and ended on one of the last few trains. Almost made it on the final train, but I allowed Adam to have the last seat.

It's been a fun season. But now it's time for the long off-season.

Here's to another great season in 2008!

Mark the season isnt over for you!!! We still have Dollywood :-) and you can always come down here and ride!!

For what I could enjoy of it, It was a nice closing weekend. Good times with friends, a front seat rollback on Dragster with Mark, and my first time seeing some of the CP Halloweekend attractions.

For reasons beyond my control, I was not able/in the mood to go back to the park on Sunday. I am not letting it get me down too much as I had a great season this year with plenty of memorable moments. Thanks to all the friends who made it so great.

Oh, and thanks to Cedar Point for being such a great park. I got my platinum pass for next season, so I'm looking forward to some more great memories next year.

I felt so bad for you Josh when I heard (although to be honest, I did find it kinda funny too....sad and funny at the same time).

Hopefully you get everything taken care of and we'll get you back out there for opening day.

I've got my platinum pass as well (and a really cheap jacket), so I'm ready for next year too.

Yeah... It's one of those things that in a few months I will laugh at, but for now it still has me a bit frustrated.

It was good to meet you guys at the campground on Saturday. Sorry I couldn't come back and hang out more. Hopefully next season we can make up for that.

We had a great time Friday and Saturday.

We had fun watching TTD stuggle to get over the top. There were many rollbacks, and a few times it came close to stoping at the top only to finally go over. Saw Maverick rollback and even saw the train rollback (kinda). It stopped just short of the Mean Streak crossing for some reason. They were struggling to back it into the station. They put cinders on the tracks, but the engine still had trouble moving. The barricades were down for quite sometime. The train finally got back into the staion and it was unloaded. I short while later they reloaded and left the station.

I was surprised how fast they closed Gemini Saturday evening for was wasn't even a slight drizzle

Sorry to post twice. I forgot to add something kind of humorous. One time Saturday as Dragster reached the top someone's knit cap blew off. It got caught up in the high wind and kept flying towards the Hotel Breakers parking lot. I never saw it land, but it got at least the parking lot and maybe as far as the beach. It just kept going.

What a great last day! Obviously the highlight was getting the last train on Dragster! Sorry you couldnt make it to the park Josh. I heard what happened and, while kinda funny, it was very unfortunate.

Oh and I'll post some pics later.....as soon as Halloween is over that is. (a little preoccupied with my haunted house)

Oh and I want everyone to remember this for next year.

I was also one of the lucky 18 riders who got last ride on Dragster back row. Its fun knowing no one bsides the employes who were after us gets to ride it untill spring. And it was on Dragsters best season by far
