Closing Weekend

Managed to get to the park for closing weekend by burning some Delta Skymiles. I worked all day Friday in Oklahoma City then flew to Detroit and made it to the park with about an hour left.

Managed to get 6 or 7 rides in on Magnum in the last hour before close on Friday night.

Saturday we went to the park, saw the crowds and all the closed rides, walked a lap around the park and then spent the day at Buffalo Wild Wings watching Football.

Sunday was a great day where I managed another dozen or so Magnum rides and a ride each on Sky Ride, Maverick, Magnum, Raptor, Gatekeeper, Gemini and Mean Streak. It was definitely good to see old friends and get one last weekend to ride.

Thanks to all on the Magnum crew for running the ride fast all weekend. Was also quite surprised to actually get a chance to ride the Sky Ride since it had been very windy on Saturday. Gatekeeper was the longest ride I waited for at 45 minutes.

Special thanks to Raptor Jo for taking me Sunday night to Columbus and to the airport Monday morning so I could fly back to OKC. I landed at 930 am and went directly to work.
