Closing Day 2005

Started out day at the Marina Entrance. At 9 am we got in and ran to MF gettin 4th train of day in front row. We did it again with a 10 minute wait. Next was Wildcat. Mantis had been testing so we got in line outside the entrance and got in in 3 minutes. Front row no wait. We then made our way to Wicked Twister, it was an ok ride. Next was Raptor with to my surprise, was only 10 minute wait. This ride moved up on my list from 4th favorite, to 3rd, it was amazzingg. We then took a last ride on DD, and took the skyride back. We then had lunch at Coasters then headed for Magnum. We got ejector seat and it killed my thighs, but fun as usual. We then hit Gemini, Mean Streak, CCMR with no waits. For some reason we wanted to ride Snake River Falls. So we bought 3 ponshos and took 4 walk-on rides. After that we went on ID, Corkscrew, Power Tower and more. We finished off the night trying to get last train on MF. We were about 10 people from the back of the line when it went down for mechanical. 10 minutes later it opened and we were in the station within 10 minutes. Once we got in, we saw all the people in front of lining up on the side wall. By now I was tired and they said they weren't going to send any trains if we didn't fill it. So I gave in and got the back car for an amazing last yellow train ride! It was 9:00 now and we left the park with a great 2005 season.
