After that waited for the rain to stop, started the park tour. Hit most of the rides in the park and I was beat at around 11 am. So Matt Dave and I went to TGIF's bar on the beach and watched the browns loose. Back to the park on second wind. Met people said goodbye's and Hi's. Met some PR directors in the park said goodbye's. After that we were ready to call it a season, Matt, Dave and I left around 6:30pm. We had another meeting set up but were too tired to make it. And now I am typing this after my nice nap.
So many CP stories again this year, heck two are in my sig. TTD status "contaminates in the system". That happened once early in the year when I saw Sandor Kernacs in the park and started talking with him. I said he had a great ride, he said "Good that you have rode it, it had contaminates in the system".
"Hey werewolf lady" happened first friday of halloweekends when Megan was working in Werewolf canyon, and some little kid yelled out at her "Hey Werewolf lady!!!" We all were rolling.
But the best part was saying goodbye to MR. Skyward. As we were walking out none other then John walks by. I scream out, "By John, it's been a great year, have a good winter". And the 2003 CP season came to a end.
Edit: One thing to add, as you can see in the TR, I didn't really ride much at all. This closing day and CP now to me is more about the people you meet up there instead of just the rides. This 2003 year was to me more about meeting up with great friends, hanging out, and having a good time instead of being so focused on the rides. So there you have it.

Highlights of the day: Riding with my CP buds. Hooper, Dodgem Dave, Sparty, LuvRaptor, Eric, Tony, Ellex, Greg, Megan, Flora and Tim, UCSigep and his friends whom I can't remember their names. Chilling in the bar at TGIF's on the beach with Hooper and Dave for most of the afternoon. Watching the Browns play some of the most deplorable football ever. One of the Greatest Scrambler rides;) one of the funniest ever! Riding most of the coasters one last time and remembering one memorable summer.
This will go down as one of the greastest seasons ever so many things happened and so many new friends. What a great season. I could not have asked for anything better. Hope to see all of you real soon. Friday's anyone?

Have to say it was a sad day right before going home, I did get a chance to give Jo a hug and said goodbye for the season. That was the first time I've spent an entire weekend on Point, and it was well worth it! Plenty of rides, plenty of good times. I would have liked to have spent more time this whole season with my CP buds, I think that was a big part of my sadness yesterday. There's always the X-Mas party, and next season, but I just didn't get up as often as I wanted. Got my pass for next year, so I'll be ready.
