Closed at 5 today

Just showed up to ride and they have an official permanent looking sign that SV closed at 5 today, what gives :( so bummed!

Gonna need extra time to do more work, test and get it ready to run with multiple trains. This could be the night they figure it out once and for all.

The ride closing at 5 was announced all over social media so it shouldn't have come to a surprise. The are clearly continuing to work on getting multiple train operation going. Im guessing we see 2 train operation this week.

Someone said a guest relations worker said it was going to be down Thursday. Can anyone confirm?

Hmmmm...i won't believe it will down Thursday til I see official word. Would be nice to truly know cause I am wanting to go Thursday.

Good point. I am going to believe him, and have rescheduled our trip for Friday. That means it will end up being open today, and the heavens will unleash fury with rain tomorrow on us all day and we won't get to ride it anyway!

We have a 5 hour ride, and people that are making their only trip their this season, so we didn't want to risk it lol.

Guest relations worker was right, you guys made the smart choice passing today, considering I am seeing the sign at the gate say Steel Vengeance will not open today.

Yep I'm celebrating my gut decision for trusting random internet guy!!!

The person at the gate said Steel Vengeance will be down all day because they are trying to synchronize two trains. I got one ride on it yesterday.

I'm in line for Maverick which still has not opened. I can confirm Steel Vengeance is testing with two trains. I saw one rolling into the station with another on the lift.

I rode Maverick 3 times in a row and then waited for the railroad and Steel Vengeance was testing 2 trains the entire time. Then Valraven went down when I reached the platform. Then Top Thrill Dragster went down when I was 3 away from the front seat. I need to go to Guest Services to be made whole, but I'm sure they'll close right as I get there.

Edit: testing 2 not 3 trains.

Testing 2 or 3 trains? Thought there was one that needed parts as they were using that to supply to the other trains?

Would be sweet if they did get all 3 running tho!
