on may 31 my eight grade class (im 14) of about 100 kids all went to cedar point, ill start off with my previous roller coaster history

that about sums it up, i have been on space and splash mountain at disney world, but thats not saying a whole lot and personally i hated those, so i was really worried about cedar point
anyways we all showed up at our school parking lot in dearborn mi at about 6:30, at 7 we left in our 2 luxury buses. the ride their waz sweet, the coolest part i can remember was as we went over this one bridge about five miles from cedar point we all caught our first glimpse of MF, by that time we were so pumped up that all we wanted to do was get the "heck" out of that bus.
at about 9 we all got out of our buses and found our friends, i went around with the same 16 or so friends i always go with, by the time we got our lockers and crap it was 9:30. most of us had never been on a roller coaster before so we got in line for the blue streak. we stood there for a while (the rides didn't atsrt till ten) and some people started to look really tense and complained about how scared they where, i was to but i stayed cool (4 the ladies of course ;) ) so after about 15 minutes we all went over to dodgem cars, i was rather embarresed, but they where pretty fun, especially when you get the operaters pissed off cuz your rear ending people. by then it was 10:15 and we went over to the iron dragon, which had a 2 minute wait, and became, for most us, our first coaster.
as i waz going up the lift hill i kept thinking to myself "Family site, keep it clean" and then the thing pratically stops on the lift hilland im ready to start swearing out loud if it breaks down but it goes over, and the ride was pretty fun, a little rough (i still got this bruise on my back) after that we went over to the wildcat which was f'n sweet, i really loved the small cars and tight overlapping track. after that we went onto bumper cars followed by the blue streak which only pushed me further into loving coasters (airtime drooll...) we than went on some more kiddie rides (i still dont know why) and than we split up
4 girls (including the girl i like) went onto the reaptor which had an hour+ wait, some of us just seemed to dissapear, and my closest friends and some girls where going to wander around. i wanted to go on the raptor, but i wanted to go on the corkscrew first to make sure i could handle inversions. so we went over to the midway and everybody (including my best friend who happens to like the same girl i do) went on those little kiddie rides which got me rather pissed off so i asked to see if anyone wanted to go on the corkscrew with me, i found 1 guy and we litteraly walked onto the corkscrew, NO wait at all. needless to say something clicked in my head during that ride and from then on i was a roller coastr addict
it was about noon than so we went and got lunch at the coasters restaraunt, my freinds worried me as they ate huge meals and i ate almost nothing, i figured if they got sick it was their problem. at 1 we went back on the iron dragon, wandred arounded the midway looking for those who went on the raptor and found them, and then everybody went on the corkscrew, to me it was even better than the first time, despite the fact that it seems pathetically short
we than all headed towards the back of the park, went on a bunch of water rides, i watched my best friend flirt with that girl than i flirted with her, went back on a buch of water rides. that was pretty much the pattern for a few hours. than we went to the mine ride which was pretty cool to me.
next we wnt to the gemni, me and my best friend along with one other guy sat out cuz we were wimps (i actually dont know y i did) when everyone came off they where all braging about sweet it was so they went on again and i joined them. that was without i doubt the best coaster i went on that day (also the biggest) especially the helix at the end. right after that i personally dragged my best friend on it (actually i got that girl to talk him into it) but it even better the second time. we than went back on some more water rides untill 4:45. since we had to be at the bus by 5:15 everyone went back to the entrence than, i should of but me and three other people sprinted to the corkscrew, rode it, made a maddash down to the entrance (we were on the track team fortunatly) got our crap out of the lockers and made it to the bus at 5:13 ill always remeber that
the bus ride back was long and boring, all day the weather had been sunny and warm. but soon it turned to storms. when we got back to school we all hung round for a little while anf then went home
all in all it was without a doubt the best day of my life, now i love coasters and in a week im going to six flags ohio with my family, and in august i get to go back to CP with the marching band and im gonna ride all the "big" coasters than, i cant wait
note: as if u care, i found out i few days later that my best friend and the girl i like had been secretly going out since four days before the CP trip, damn

Awesome story..except for the end:(sorry...Gemini is of course my favorite coaster there...but i love em all..i havent been on the Millenium Force but i cant wait..that will be my last coaster over the 2 days im there next week.
