Clarion Inn

Does the Clarion Inn (Sandusky Mall) still exist? The

Clarion Inn website says that none exists in Sandusky,

and the website (http://www.sanduskyhotels.com) listed

in the Experience the Point guidebook no longer names it

as one of its choices.

Sounds like it probably doesn't. There was a hotel that got torn down a year or three ago along 250 and now there is a plaza there. That could be it.

Found the answer to my own question. The Federal

government filed a suit on behalf of a wheelchair athlete

who maintained that the facility violated the Americans with

Disabilities Act. In response, management closed the hotel.

The building is still there, but it has been empty for quite some time.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

They use it for DUI classes for the CP employees that get pulled over on their way out of Louie's. :)
Well, not really just CP employees, but all DUI's and traffic school sentences in Sandusky. I kid you not.

I know that they are building hotels like crazy all over! I see that there are some real nice ones on the way!
