I know that you can't check in to housing any more than 24 hours than when you process in. Does this mean you can check in to housing at midnight or 2 am the day before? Or does 24 hours mean 24 hours from when they open processing for the day? (So you can't check in until 8 am or whenever processing starts for the day?) Thanks.

Specifically, I process in May 23rd. I want to be rested before I process in. I plan on taking Amtrak to Sandusky. Doing that, I get there are either midnight or close to 3 am.
So, I figured, I'll get to the park at close to 1/1:30 or 4/4:30 on either the 22nd or 23rd. If its the 23rd, I know there would be no problem checking in that early to housing (as I understand it, you can check in at any time of the day.) The only problem with that is I would have no time to sleep. Would they allow me to check in at that time of the morning on the 22nd?

I'm pretty sure you can check in 24 hours a day, but I imagine moving in at 3 AM wouldn't be the best way to make a good impression on your roommates. Anyway, don't take my word for it, as I'm not certain.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Yeah, you can check in 24 hours a day, but try to get a room with no roommates so you don't wake them up!

Is there anyway that we can get in earlier? My plane arrives the 13th but they don't have me processing in until the 15th... Could I just process in sooner?
maybe they'll let you sleep in front of HR until the 14th...

If you just call your supervisor I'm sure they will change your start date for you. I doubt that they will have a problem with you starting work a day earlier.
I was supposed to process in on Monday April 25, but the plane tickets were cheaper for friday the 22nd, HR changed the date for me without any problems.
I have another question. Say I want to live in the 1500 building, do I just walk up to it the night before I process in (in my case I would get there May 8th, process in May 9th) and say I want to live here, or is there a housing office that's in charge of it all? Thanks guys!

On checking in, what all does it entail? Do you have to pay for housing when you show up, or does it just take the three weeks out of your first check? And, you say that we can process in a day early. So like I process in on the 4th of May, that means I can process in on Saturday the 3rd, or what?
Thanks

When you check into housing, they will assign you a room and you key. You will have to fill out a sheet of paper as well. That's pretty much all you do for checking into housing. You won't have to pay anything because it will be taken out of you paychecks.
Yes you will be able to move into housing the day before you actual process in day which will be the 3rd.
