Changing EXIT DATE... IS IT POSSIBLE!!?

My exit date is Septmember 1, and was wondering if it was poosible to change it til the end of the season. PLEASE say yes LOL jk. but please respond it will be greatly appricated. :D

Elizabeth, prior to the end of your contract, you will be given the option of extending your contract. This is really no big deal. They will allow it.

what about changing it so that it is shorter?

Changing it to make it shorter is harder but possible although not guaranteed. If you shorten it by too much, they may withdraw their offer. Part of the reason you are hired is because of the availability you gave them on your application.

Here's my suggestion. If you plan on making CP a 1 summer experience, don't tell them you want you to make it shorter. Just quit whenever you need to leave. Although I wouldn't suggest this in the professional job market.

If you want to become a lifer at Cedar Point, you need to contact the person who hired you, (immediately) and ask them if you could shorten your contract.

It depends on the reason for shortening it. For instance, last season when I applied I didn't know where I would go to college so I made my end date too late and had to leave before my original contract was up. If it's for college, it's not at all a problem. All I had to do was show proof of enrollment and then say what date I needed to leave and it was all done super quick and easy, no problem at all. If it's for another job or something they might have a problem with it.

you will also need documentation to make it shorter...that is if you want to come back. if not ten you can just quit
