Chances of rehiring

Ok so my application was reviewed by my former manager, I emailed him and he explained I could not seek employment in accomodations this season. However, he said other departments could review my application. What are my chances of being rehired or am I just not able to be hired? Also, my job choice was switched, will it go back to the original options I chose?

Since your former manager said other departments could review your application, he did not mark you as a no rehire. Your chances of being hired should be good. As to your job choice being switched, call human resources. Job choice switching has happened a lot this year.

Probably not that good. If he doesn't want to hire you back, he more than likely won't give you a good reference when another manager goes to him for a reference.
