Hi I'm going to be a first year at challege park this year. I was wondering what the uniforms look like? What color shoes do we have to wear? Also for living arrangements, where should I live, I would like an apartment so I can be able to cook. I process in may 6. Last but not least what should I bring to cedar point , like for my dorm room/ apartment ?Thanks in advance :)
you're going to be wearing an extremely bright neon yellow shirt and really great black shorts, white socks, and white shoes. if you want to live in an apartment, it's more than likely going to be commons apartments, by may 6 bayside will probably be close to full, but you may still be able to get a bed. i would recommend commons dorms before apartments - but just because i think the apartments are jank.
bring a mattress pad, two or three sets of sheets and a blanket, pillow, shower stuff along with a shower caddy, towels, clothes for when you're not working, $200-$300 (after $100 housing deposit) couple pairs of shoes..if you live in an apartment where you have a stove bring pots and pans, a watch... ummm, yeah - see i definitely overpack when i come, but you never know what you'll need!
are you working go karts or ripcord??

So no hats? I've been seeing a lot of people talking about windsuits and rain suits, will i be needing those ?
You can get a cedar point hat that you have to return when the season is over. I'm not sure if yall operate in the rain, so you might not need a rain suit. But I would reccomend Getting the blue suit (wind suit) because it's nice to wear when you aren't at the park or you're going to work and you never know when it will get cold from the Sandusky crap weather.

hats are not a part of challenge park uniform. purchase both a wind suit and rain suit from wardrobe.. you guys will go down in rain, but you will just sit around, and when the rain stops you have to squeege (sp?) the tracks. buy a rain suit before a wind suit...because the wind suits are not very waterproof...when you buy them at wardrobe they'll just put it on your 'tab' a.k.a will come out of your first paycheck, so i say, just buy one at a time, or you'll be surprised how low your first paycheck is. i think blue is still the TL for go karts? he's cool...but have fun with your spiels and all that..so annoying, haha!

In my opinion, the "blue suit" is a must. There were many days there I would have froze without it. The rain suit is probably less important at racepark since they close at the first sign of rain, but they are really nice rain suits. I still use the jacket whenever I have to go out in the rain.
Hats are an optional thing, or at least they were several years ago. You can only wear the approved hat from wardrobe of course. I think they were like $5, might be more now.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
What you announce to guests over the speakers about safety and what not
