It's kinda funny.. this thing goes in and is up like planned (Aug 1st) then guess what.. It'll be up and open before the SFMM mysterious "4th attraction".. heheh and the ball starts to roll...

I don't know what is wrong with the link... I would guess that it will be back up soon though...
It is interesting that everyone has been talking about the mysterious SFMM 4th attraction, and all of a sudden it is looking like CP will outdo them, almost "undercover", by putting in one first.

I think, Majin, that was the plan all along. To "surprise" SFMM with a "new" attraction that was up and running before MM had their running...but I could be wrong :)

No Mikey..probably not..You guys need to realize that CP really doesn't care as much as you think they do about what SFMM does..Its on the opposite side of the country!! They do NOT draw from the same population...
The ejector seat is no new surprise..Its been rumored for sometime now and wind of this was know many moons ago..
CP and CF doesn't make a big deal and press announcement about every new
attraction they have..especially one that shows up during the
year..advertising dollars have been spent already to get people to the park
for the season..when people get there there sure to see the new attraction
while there there..so why advertise just for a ejector seat type attraction
when people are coming anyways to ride Force or Maggy from other
commercials...Remember thats gonna be a additional cost too and
advertising that might not fly to well..When the people get to the park
they'll see what it is and consider it WHILE THERE THERE ALREADY :-)

I guess I dont get the point of having something so similar as the Power Tower Space shot and having a seperate fee for it.....I suppose its different, but the concept is so similar it seems odd. To my knowledge, SFMM doesnt have a PT, so it makes sense for them....but for CP, this is pretty much a head scratcher....
It won't be anything thing with Old Time in it since Cedar Point already has a ride called Old Time Cars.

I agree Jeff... I think the people here look far too into the whole CP vs. SFMM thing. They are two different markets and should be treated as such. I just find it funny how there's been all the coverage at Coasterbuzz and whatnot about the "4th attraction" and CP just comes and does it.
Much like you said, they don't advertise every little thing.
