According to this online poll...

Also known as the "lead ticket awards".
Thoughts?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Nailed the first two in my opinion, but this poll means about as much to me as the Golden Ticket Awards.

I feel the same way. The thing that made me really question the editor, though, was
Cedar Point has once again claimed this dubious award by having coasters themed to the year 2000, birds of prey in general, and a bug that people are afraid to step on fearing legal action
Evidently the name "Millennium Force" means that the ride is stuck in the year 2000 just like fanny packs, Aaron Carter, and the Baha Men.
As mediocre as the food at the Point is, it's far from the worst. I defy anyone to try to stomach the chicken nuggets at Lakemont Park, for example.

I stopped caring about these awards right after I read this:
"Great Escape! Well that’s surprising! Actually, this park won with two freaking votes while a mish mosh of parks made up the rest of the votes. Personally, I’ll go with any boardwalk parks bathroom."
The park won with 2 votes, and it could have been the editor and their mom for all we know. No disrespect to the site, but I think the sampling size needs to be several thousand times larger for the awards to have any merit.
^ Mike, but they're charm nuggets! They have to be good! I kind of want to visit this park now to try the nuggets. Is this a ploy to help the park get some attendance? ;)
Yeah, you can tell that this is a laughably irrelevant "poll", given that they cite Disney as having the "most overpriced admission".
I guess that explains why Disney's attendance has been suffering so much recently. Oh wait, that's right, Disney is doing pretty amazing business, during an enormously poor economic period no less. Not to mention that Disneyland had to literally shut its doors during Christmas 2010, as there were simply too many people trying to get in. Yeah, definitely sounds like Disney has priced themselves too high.
Exactly how far down the gutter of the 'net did you have to crawl to find this piece of "journalism"? :)

Ironic that in an attempt to create a satirical response to an objectively irrelevant poll, a more useless, more irrelevant poll was created.

I do agree about the food...extremely overprices for mediocre carnival food. But to voted the worst themed?? The last time I checked, CP was an amusement park. The only themed areas are the kiddie areas.
GO IRISH!!
Ah, Steve, quite being so rational. Cedar Point is supposed to be everything to everyone, not what it is.

Disney ticket prices just went up. I go twice a year and have never seen so many promotions and discounts as there have been in the last three years. You cant compare CP with DW. There is just no comparison. Totally different atmosphere. I just saved $850 on free dining when I booked last week for the beginning of March. I would rather drive 4 hrs to the point than to spend the $25 to go to Kennywoods Phantom Fright Nights. Better deal for us. I plan on eating offsite. Where is some good restaurants to get a decent breakfast?

And the frontier trail, soak city, ocean motion/ hurricane hanna area.

I don't think Soak City has ever been themed. It's just a water park.

I wasn't. I was pointing out the absurdity of claiming Disney's tickets are overpriced, when Disney literally had to shut their doors because too many people want in.

I will give you Frontier Train but Hurricane Hannah's is just a themed restaurant and Ocean Motion is a nicely themed ride. Beyond the trail and Kiddie areas there is no themed areas in CP. If I was asked the question what park has the worst theming CP would probably not even cross my mind.

Even though the food is very overpriced at Cedar Point, it is definitely not the worst. There is a good variety of food at CP too.
Not to mention that the quality has actually improved over the past 2 years.
Just because you can't personally afford something does not make it overpriced; now getting "what you pay for" in terms of quality is a different topic, but I actually see nothing wrong with what CP does. Could it be better? I guess.
I just do not come to Cedar Point with Dollywood or Disney type expectations when it comes to food...I have Cedar Fair expectations. What's the cliche? It is what it is.
