Hello everyone!
I used to work for the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company (owned Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland, Etc.) I noticed in one of the forums that someone asked about a Blue Tag at MaXair and I was wondering if you have the same positions as Hershey does. Basically a Blue Tag at Hershey is a Part Time Supervisor, a Green Tag is a Part Time Assistant Sup, a Red Tag is a Ride Lead, and a Yellow Tag is a basic ride operator. I was a Blue Tag for 2 years with the Hershey Company and I'm planning to begin a career next summer with Cedar Fair L.P. at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, PA. I was just wondering if positions are the same and if pay is pretty decent (greater than or equal to $8.50 for blue tag and $6.25 for basic ride op).
Thanks a lot - already it seems that Cedar Fair is a lot greater than Hershey because of how they treat their employees and just the overall atmosphere!
Green are minor, red are general seasonal, blue are team leaders, double blue (first and last name on the tag) are supervisors. Silver tags are year-round full-timers, but those are not ID's, they're just name tags.

That's the basic lineup on tags for Cedar Point.. I don't know if that's how it works at Dorney, however.

See, I thought gold meant you were Dick Kinzel. :)

Kinzel is a Gold Tag; he came and rode yesterday...I thought he'd be something like a 'mirror tag' or something fancy like that.
The higher-up execs don't have anything on their tag except for their name...no title, no city, nothing. I think that's so the guests don't stop them all the time.
Not to be confused with Twisted Wicker 08 from 2002
^Doubt it, anybody who would care to stop Dick Kinzel and didn't know his name already are out of it, since they are most likly an ethusiast.
I think it just shows they're higher ups and they're special. :) *** Edited 8/7/2005 5:35:29 PM UTC by Gomez***

Because all guests walk around wearing a tie at Cedar Point.....
You mean you don't? I love walking around having people ask me questions about the future of the park. ;)
Ties are commonplace at the Tokyo Disneyland. People actually dress up there to go to an amusement park.
That must make for some interesting on-ride photos.
