As much as I don't support the war, I pray for our troops and for a swift end to the violence.
Do the flags (or the number of flags) mean anything?
Cedar Point's logo, and signs, have had various numbers of flags integrated into them. There's a link above that shows the sign had six flags. The CP logo from the mid-70s had five flags. TTD, maybe related, maybe not, has 7 flags on it. The current CP logo has only one flag on it, dotting the "i."
My initial thought is that it seems kinda random, and probably not related, but it makes me wonder.... Also, what is it about the flag that makes it a "must-have" for amusement park identification? Nearly all parks and thier websites use them.

And speaking of Ace of Base, that really does remind me of CP, because I remember walking down the midway hearing Cruel Summer playing over and over. :)------------------

Actually I think they play the original version of Cruel Summer by Bananarama at Cedar Point. I'm not totally sure though.

Everyday, it's a gettin' closer
Goin' faster than a roller coaster
Love like yours will surely come my way
Everyday, it's a gettin' faster
Every one says go on and ask her
Love like yours will surely come my way
Everyday, seems a little longer
Everyday, love's a little stronger
Come what may, do you ever long for
True love from me
Everyday, it's a gettin' closer
Goin' faster than a roller coaster
Love like yours will surely come my way
A love like yours will surely come my way
Released September 20, 1957, Coral Records
Covered by John Denver (1972/81), James Taylor (1985/61), Phil Collins (1994/24) if I am reading the chart correctly (unless those covers aren't the same song :) ). I didn't find a chart entry for Everyday but Peggy Sue hit #3, with Everyday as the flip-side.
