After some close listening my cousins and I did, we noticed that at least one of the songs, "Thriller", wasn't the original version sung by MJ (that, or they had a crappy track or speakers). Am I right?
I know mj, and on the halloweekends soundtrack thats definately him and Vincent Price doing his little poem at the end. But as far as the other songs on the soundtrack, both summer and halloween, your absolutely right that some songs aren't by the orginal people which is quite interesting. For example in the summer, they play "Do you want to know a secret" by the Beatles (Please Please Album for reference), but yet they are not the ones who sing it on the PA or whatever. I believe that "Tragedy" by the Bee Gees is the same way and "Freak Out" also. Thats a good point and I wonder why they don't just have the orginals?

What Thriller sounded like to us, ejm1701, was a pretty good impersonator singing with the original music, including the actual Price ending. It didn't sound like they had the talent or heart that MJ had (and I'm a fan, too... of his early music ONLY!) I'm not saying you're wrong, but if you are right, CP has a terrible version of it. Of course, I'm not sure why they wouldn't be able to play the original anyway, unless playing a fake song is cheaper to broadcast than the original with all the copyrights and usage laws.
Any similarity in name is purely coincidental.

Great song, but I also like other music of theirs. I would suggest checking out other things by them. I wouldn't be surprised if other music from them makes it into an autospiel near you!
