Cedar Point Road?

I'm doing a few geocaches in the Sandusky area on the way to CP, and will end up down near the Putnam Marsh Nature Preserve. I see that Cedar Point Road seems to go all the way from there up along Lake Erie, and ends up at the CP parking area (but maybe past the toll plaza?). I'm NOT trying to skip out on the parking fee, since we're staying onsite anyway.

Can you get to CP parking from that direction, or is it better to just take the usual way across the Causeway?

You can go that way. I usually take it once or twice a year on nice days just for the scenery. And there's a parking booth waiting for you when you get on property.

It seems a lot longer, I believe that it is, but the view is the prettiest. All you see is Lake Erie, parts of Cedar Point through the trees and beautiful houses. It's nice!
