My kids insist on a trip to Joe Sundae's during the off-season.
As for THMaverick being challenged by a CP police officer, I thought they were all in Japan getting their Ninja training off-season?

I love Bay Harbor. We go there once a month. It is pricey but you get a great meal. I think it's worth the price. They were running a groupon special yesterday. I bought one.

Speaking of restaurants at CP. I think CP needs a better selection of sit down inside the park. Sure, Friday's, Tomo, and Dave's are good. But inside the park? Chickie and Pete's and Johnny Rocket's don't really cut it.
I really do miss Game Day Grille.
They should utlize some good old Lake Erie Perch for a restaurant inside the park.
Game day Grille and the one that became the Pizza place were my favorites. The buffett isn't very good, especially for the price.

It's not a sit-down restaurant but they do have perch sandwiches at Lakeside Express by GateKeeper. Sure, it would be nice to see a nicely prepared fish meal in a sit-down establishment, though.
I definately would prefer a sit down place. All that walking really wears a senior citizen down.

I've said it a million times, but please. A Mrs. Knott's Fried Chicken restaurant would make me so happy.
And I think Cedar Point is the perfect park for nicer, sit-down restaurants. At least a couple. Unlike most parks, Cedar Point not only has day trippers but multi day hotel-staying customers as well. But do they want to compete with the places that are a short walk just outside the park? Probably not.
And Allan, I may be wrong, but I'm under the impression you may be unsure where Bay Harbor is. It's at the Marina, about halfway the length of Blue Streak. You tell the person at the booth where you're going and they direct you to that portion of the perimeter road and you can go no further. And when you're there you have a view of the bay, not the lake.
I remember when Raptor was brand new, we went in the early spring before the park opened. We were a little early so we got out of the car and walked around, taking pictures of the new ride and looking at some of the boats that were there wrapped up in dry dock. Well, here came the Cedar Point Gestapo who was a real dick, and bawled us out for trespassing. We were causing no harm to anything whatsoever, we had my partners daughter with us, and we never left the parking lot. He threatened to arrest us, and we were flabbergasted.
The amazing part is we went to the restaurant anyway and dropped 70 bucks on the place. But I've hated the CP police since then.
You drive up the Causeway. At the only open tollbooth (should only be one, correct me if I'm wrong), let the attendant know that you're visiting Bay Harbor. You'll then continue straight along Perimeter Road, on the left side of the main lot. Pass by the front of that lot, then go down to the first stop sign. This will be right around Blue Streak's first drop. Here, you'll have to turn left at the sign for Bay Harbor. As has been mentioned, it should be blocked off so you can't go straight there. After that, turn left into the parking lot; the building will be on your right. Like RCMAC pointed out, Bay Harbor is right on the bay. Hopefully this clears things up.
Do they have someone working at the toll both all year long?

Yes. A police officer or employee is at the main toll booth 24/7, 365 days a year.
Well they don't let just anyone roll in whenever.
I'm not sure why everyone is making this so complicated. The restaurant is open. Show up, they'll make sure you get there.
