Cedar Point Questions...

I have a few questions, if you guys could please answer them:

1. How many people stay in a room, and can I stay with my friends?

2. Average Pay?

3. Do you ahve any tips for the phone interview?

4. Is Wicked Twister a fun ride to run? I always wanted to operate this ride...

1. Anywhere from 2-4. If you live in an apartment, you could have up to I believe 15 people sharing the apartments, but there are separate rooms.

2. $6.25/hr

3. Be excited, thorough, and think about your answers ahead of time. Try to think about what kinds of questions they will ask and think of answers that will support what area you want to work.

4. Can't tell ya based from experience, but I hear it's "meh". It's also been down for a week.

What do you think about you job on Millennium Force Josh?

Anyways, can I saty with my friends, if they get a job there too?

I love working on Millennium Force, even though I've only done it for two days so far. The only I can't stand is working the turnstyles in the station, because people suck when they don't listen, because we CANNOT pack the station!

If your friends get jobs there too then find a dorm/apartment that has availability for all of them.

Millennium is an awesome ride to work, although after two months it starts to drag on you a bit. I would say it is by far the most stressful ride in the park to work, but in the end it is all worth it.

Wicked Twister is a LOT of fun if that's the ride you start out on. I know a lot of people who think it's just "meh"... but most of them started out on other rides. Just for examples sake... Raptor is incredibly fast paced... you are CONSTANTLY moving over there, and I loved it when I worked there. Wicked Twister is a completely different animal. You're 'working' for a minute, and then you have a minute to stand there and really do nothing other than interact with the guests (if you're on the load side) or watch the station (on the unload side).

It's a much more laid back atmosphere, and doesn't have the same feel as the ultra-chaotic Raptor platform. It really all depends on how you like to work... but, contrary to all of the 'meh' feelings on WT... it was my favorite ride to work.

Gemini when it ran 6 trains was always the best ride to work!

I absolutely loved working Wicked Twister last summer. It was a great atmosphere and the ride had an awesome crew as well. Being on the beach and right next to the water was another great aspect of the ride too, except for the fact that it gets cold over there sometimes because of the breeze from the lake and the train flying by, but that is also a great thing on extremely hot days. WT was definately my favorite ride to work last summer.

Ok, I got an employment question for you guys. I'm the TL of Head Spin, one of the roller coasters over at Geauga Lake. I was considering switching over to Point for next year since I'll finally be old enough. There are a couple things holding me back though. 1, i don't want to take a pay cut. 2, I'm afraid I wouldn't get leadership, and 3, if I did get leadership it would be in a less than desirable area. I've always worked coasters and I plan on keeping it that way, basically what I'm asking is what is the likelyhood that I would be given a lead spot at a coaster?

Slim to none. I think the best you could hope for is a spot on a crew with a chance to move up.

Hey all crew members! Do you know what the 12-E stands for on Disastor Transport?

There's many guesses on the CP Blog. I personally like mine the best ;)

Ha ha, just read your guess Ben... nice try. :)

I'm just guessing it has to do with a CP ride reference... :)
