It is a platinum, but the small print on the back of the card reads "Park perks and privillages are only valid at Kings Dominion and are not valid at any other Cedar Fair Entertainment Company Park."

The Kings Dominion perks are only valid at Kings Dominion as are the Kings Island perks only valid at King Island. However, each park has its own perks that platinum pass holders are entitled to.

If Tony would promiss us all coaster ride transportation, to and from work, I would vote for him in the up coming elections.

just some background: originally, cedar fair was indecisive on whether you got all pass perks with your platinum pass, and their original stance at the time the passes were mass produced was that they were only good for the home parks perks, even though you could get in all parks... Cedar Fair has since changed its stance on the issue, most likely due to lackluster pass sales for this calendar year. I noticed that at Kings Island where i got my platinum pass they did the same thing with free parking. it wasnt free originally with a gold pass, but by the time i went to get it processed before i upgraded to platinum it did come with free parking all year long... In short, thanks to the slowing economy, we have free parking, and perks at all Cedar Fair Parks! Im so excited, im going to cedar point tomorrow!

Actually, you're completely incorrect.

Ever since the day the Platinum Pass was announced, perks were valid at any park. However, there may have been some miscommunication to guests regarding parking and perks. Plus, we continuously added perks to the list as we went along. Communication was likely the issue, not Cedar Point's (or Cedar Fair's) stance (or lackluster sales).

I know there were some minor speed bumps at the beginning of the year, but they were smoothed out.

And in response to mariace, I'm all about it. And "read my lips: no...new...aquatrax-es!" ;)

Director of Communications at Cedar Point

With my P. Pass I bought a Game and got one free, and I also did that with the SKYSCRAPER too. Can I also do that again with my P. Pass at Cedar Point.

Yes, they are good for as many times as you want. Its not like they recorded your pass number or anything.

Goodbye MrScott
