It seems everytime i go to CP, im constantley wating in 1- 1 1/2 hour long lines. CP needs to add alot more new rides that take alot more people. Also Does anybody know the best day to go??
Yeah man.
Constantley.
It's an amusement park. Expect long lines. If you want new rides, there's gotta be guests.
Well, it is peak season...
That being said, as I've been saying all year, those of us who really support the park should want that. If there aren't people there, the park isn't going to successful, and we will continue to see waning attendance, which I'm sure will cause some affects many of us won't be happy with...

Yeah but if theres more rides, there will be shorter lines and you could be able to ride TTD More Than ONCE!
If you're worried about the park being too busy, buy the VIP pass. I'm doing that next year. Not because I don't like waiting in line, but because I want to see how many coasters I can get into one day. :)
I went last week to the Point and the longest line was 45 minutes for TTD. We got every single coaster in (the big ones 3-4 times) in one day. Gotta know how to work it.
Geez, I don't remember the last time I waited 45 minutes for TTD. ;)
I think the last time I waited about 30 minutes, and before that it was about 10.
we went the 10th and 11th. thursday and friday.
most of our TTD waits were under 30 minutes. but, brake fin 8/11 kept sticking. :)
Last week of August between Monday and Friday. GO THEN.
ANd it's not nearly as bad now as it used to be in the early 90's. Yikes.
You're going to an amusement park, it also happens to be a rather large park at that. For the amount of people CP pulls in each day, they do a good job at cycling through people compared to other parks.

Sunday and Monday CP was pretty busy even for peak season.
That being said, if you want short waits and are willing to risk cold and rainy weather to get it, go in May.
My wife an I go every year in May and it is 50F and raining about 50% of the times we go. We bring a raincoat and still enjoy the heck out of it.
Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point
Opening day is a great day!

Ride on, MrScott!
Sometimes it depends on how you plan your day too. Everytime I go with a group, the very first thing everyone wants to do when they enter the park is go to Raptor. Planning your day correctly can get you a lot more rides.

Umm.
CP has more rides then any other park. Try going to Disney and then complain about lines.
<Matt>
101 on Magnum and counting...
I was surprise there were these people trying to complain to me that the line for Raptor was too long. I was like "Hey this is an amusement park, its suppose to have long lines." Then there was the person who was going in the queues to where people were going off the stairs asking how long they waited in line. No one would answer him, and I just shook my head in disbelief.

A Michigan State Spartan Fan!!!
Its all about going to Raptor in the late evening its amazing how much shorter the line is then compared to the morning.
Raptor's crew really does suck this year compared to previous years when they've always had either the best or second best crew in the park. Word is that Magnum is going to bury them this year for numbers and that really shouldn't be seeing as how Magnum doesn't open for Joe Cool and usually sends half empty trains for the first hour of the day. Millennium might not be that far behind either. Have a little pride Raptor crew. The people at Magnum probably don't even have fun when they beat you because you don't even try.

Hey Matt shut the **** up!! ;)
Actually though I would have to agree with you. At our last visit even during Joe Cool with 3/4th empty trains they were stacking. I was like wth? I actually caught one of them on dispatch text messaging someone when the train was loading! :(
Honestly the last crew I can really think of that really took the word "interval" seriously was the '02 crew. That entire crew put so much pride into their job (and kicking Maggie's butt! :)) and they pushed for intervals constantly. We had our fun moments too, but the guests came 1st. I'm not saying that because I was on that (Halloweekends) crew, I'm saying that because I was a guest many times that year also and Raptor hadn't run that good since the original Raptor boys.
I went back in '03 and that crew was simular to every crew since then...blech :(
Maybe their goal is longer wait times and stacking, if that's the case then they rock!!! ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
