They make me feel like I'm at a carnival. Also, they do nothing more than annoy me. I just walk right on past them.
Most of the games are rip-offs! Most of them are set up so you cant win, there not that fun, and for the money you pay to try to win a prize you could just go buy the same prize at a store for less money.

Let's Get Weird.
We play all the time. I think the games are definitely part of the Cedar Point experience.
If they don't give anything away then I am sure you would not mind paying their merchandise bills!!! I didn't think so. While some are harder than others, and the size of the prize usually relates that, all games can be won in a reasonable manner.
I personally don't care about the price. What really ticks me off is how obnoxious many of the game hosts are.
I'm going to agree with Walt. Fun midway games make the experince, my personal favourite are the skeeball machines on the Gemini midway. Whether or not I win doesn't matter, I just love spending a few dollars and having a good time on the games.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
games are NOT rigged so you can not win.. it takes skill to win.. hence the gamesof skill notation. In ohio there are laws in place that do not allow games that are impossible to win.. I see people every visit walking around with big prizes. thay are all aimed at having a great time
I think that games are part of the CP experience as long as you are going on a vacation. I just don't see a lot of people playing them if they have a season pass. Ya, they can be fun but a lot of them are a waist of money especially for the prizes that you end up wining. If tou can win.:)
I'm not a big midway game person, but they are something that gives CP personality. Winning is great until you try to put that giant teddy bear to the entrance of a ride. They don't fit in the locker so it's to the parking lot or hotel.
On the same topic, CP did a fantastic job with the revamped midway game area last year. It looks nice during the day, but it's awesome to look at when the lights are on at night.

What do you mean by something different. Are the games at CP that much different than games at other parks?
Sorry, I meant to word it differently.

I don't normally play the games there. I'm just there for the rides. I do like to visit the arcade a lot though. I heart DDR.

Fascination is gone, not much to talk about.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
Dating myself? What are you talking about? The game has only been gone for five full seasons. Its not I like said gee I sure miss The Monorail.

Keep in mind that we have members who were born the same year Snake River Falls opened (which was also my first year working at Cedar Point). It doesn't take much to fall under the category of "old." :)
Gee's, I just turned 17 and I played Fascination. I do want to get older quicker, but I don't want to be consider old right now. :)
