Cedar Point food

Farting in the lines? Maybe CP should be selling Thunderpants...

The ice cream is the best.

It's 2:30am and I'm craving the Cedar Point overly priced rice krispie treat with frosting and sprinkles,...however the acid reflux that has overstayed its welcome is considering e-mailing CP to suggest more fresh fruits...perhaps on the midway. Ugh...and off to bed I go.

Happy Friar cheese fries > all.

I saw a fresh fruit cart on the midway yesterday in front of Sky Ride's west station.

Bah!

Back to food...anything deep fried is perfectly fine with me.

Cheese, Snickers, Oreos, Twinkies....

I know, how 'bout deep fried ice cream like you used to get at Chi Chi's....mmmmmm

does any know where macho nacho is... its one of my favorite places to get a quick lunch, but i can not find it in the get away guide map.

You can get Macho Nachos at any of the saloon type establishments. Not that I spend a lot of time at the Red Garter {my favorite} ;}

First trip June 23rd

ok thanks Grady.

it's also sold at Los Gatos Cafe which is right in front of the Skyhawk

Yuck, CP food. :( I almost always leave the park when forced to eat, other than the 25 cent cotton candy of course.

You didn't happen to catch what sort of fresh fruit was on that cart did you? How is it priced? Did you see people buying it? What... is the Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow? African, or European?

Man, how can anyone say they've been forced to eat? I can't go 3 hours without food. Of course, that's how my diet works, and I only eat small amounts every coupld of hours, but man - if I miss a meal, I'm feeling it.

No, only saw the cart from a distance.

I saw a few people with bowls of grapes. I also noticed that a few of the baskets are being advertised as having multiple side choices, rather than just fries, and one choice is fruit.

I think this is a very positive development.

I'm pretty happy about the fresh fruit thing. I am not allowed to eat the junk food that Cedar Point has for sale. I've grown a set of man teets over the winter. So I can no longer justify using walking all day at CP as an excuse to eat the cheese fries.

I think that selling fresh fruit on the midway is a fanfreakin'tastic idea. Many people have strict diet regimes for health reasons and otherwise, so now that Cedar Point FINALLY acknowledges that is a step in the right direction!!

Frontier Town or Frontier Trail would also be a great location to set up a pseudo "Farmers Market" with locally grown produce that people may purchase i.e.: a slice of watermelon, honeydew, or a bunch of grapes, fresh apples, pears, etc.

^word... a farmers market is a great idea.

Speaking of fresh produce, where have the cotton candy carts disappeared to?

They're selling yogurt at the Stockade too. They're also selling apple stix - too bad they're breaded and deep fried, but hey - it's fruit, right? :)

Seriously, it makes me happy that they are selling healthier foods. My weakness is still the 25 cent cotton candy though.
