Cedar Point Facebook page not allowing comments

It looks like Cedar Point has not been allowing any new comments on their facebook page since Thursday. Do you think it is because people were giving away what the new ride is or because of legal reasons?

Probably because people were being douchebags and getting all on CP's case for not adding another coaster.

So what, it's Cedar Point's right to allow or not allow comments as they please!

Mine is the last comment with the skyline pic, I don't think it's because of giving away hints if the windseeker or they could've taken my post down

it was because of the douchebags that were posting about how Cedar Point let them down and now have to hang themselves for not putting another coaster in....

Just from posts like those, you can tell who is a spoiled brat in life.

I was wanting to post a thank you for at least building something 400ft tall AND it will stay up there for about 30 seconds in a small chair. Whats not thrilling about that?

...and we see why doing press related things on Facebook is not always easy.

New comments yes, but not new wall posts.

I've seen them do this a number of times on Facebook. Every time some douche gets on there and starts ranting, they'll shut down the wall posts for a few days to let everyone chill out.

I prefer to call it, "people being sassy." :)

To each his own Tony. I think some of the other members on here have called it a little more dead on. We know you really can't really say that though. :)

Maybe you can have a little more "fun" with the last clue? :)

It really makes grinds my gears seeing the crying and moping that goes on. I especially hate seeing people make comments that have nothing to do with the question. Or even a comment that can't legitimately be answered.

EX:

CP-"Wants to know if you're excited for the weekend!"

comments-"i hate Cedar Points now cause they dont have new things for doing stuff and I'm upset!11!#@!

I lost my watch at the parking lot a few years ago and I never found it!!!

Who's the guy making hot dawgs, I think he's an immigrant! I want a refund!!"

Some of the stuff I've seen posted on Facebook has made me glad I actually have a working brain. One of the best sites ever is "lamebook." It's hard to believe people are that dumb.

I think Facebook is great. It's the stupid, annoying people that tarnish any kind of good reputation is could have.
