After reading through this thread my level of depression has just increased.

Depressed turtles are even worse.
I mean seriously, imagine a turtle. Then imagine a turtle with extreme depression. That would probably be the most awful thing to ever have to witness. :(

I saw a dead turtle on the road one time. He was somewhat flattened, with all his limbs and his head sticking out. His eyes were were bulging out of his head, as if the pressure of getting run over had forced his eyeballs out of their sockets.
That was somewhat depressing.

Uggg, that's pretty depressing Mike. I saw a little baby bird that looked like it had fallen from a tree and in turn got ran over by an automobile.
That also was somewhat depressing.

Yes, it has gotten fairly 'down', hasn't it? Wonder how long we can keep it going?
One time I was driving on an interstate highway when I encountered a dove sitting in the middle of the lane. Even though I was traveling at a high rate of speed, I could immediately identify it as a dove (or perhaps some sort of white pigeon).
I slammed on the brakes, but it was futile. Too late, the bird tried to fly up into the air and hit the front grill. A shower of white dove feathers blew back on the windshield.
