The ballroom does contain restrooms, along with some park op offices, and the Live E costume shop on the main midway side. On the other side of the stage is the Live E offices. Nothing too special, but the ballroom is really interesting to see and think about all the history that happened there. It's a shame they don't use it more often, although I suspect at least part of that reason is because they don't want to put up the cash to make it ADA compliant.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Speaking of the ballroom (and remembering visits to CP with my late grandpa), it would be really fabulous, IMO, if they staged an annual "ball"; obviously it would be a local deal, but wouldnt it be great?
Youre a season pass holder, so you get an invite to the "Pass Holders Appreciation Ball", put on a tux, have some hor d'eurves (sp?), and have an old fashioned dance complete with band, etc. You could tie it in some type of charity auction, or something along those lines.
Just daydreaming.

Cedar Points target audience isn't really composed of the type of people that would own a tuxedo.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
The Ballroom is a pretty cool space. It is the classic 1940's style big band kind of room. In the mid-70's we had an employee dance there every Thursday night.
^ He means "dance" as a noun, not a verb....
That sounds cool, by the way. I know alot about CP history, but never knew about them using the ballroom in the 70's.
