Cedar Point a little lazy?

For little kiddies like me it would have to be rides, girls, Mountain Dew (A lot of Caffiene, Girls, Rides=FUN), and girls.

Welcome to the Magnum XL-200, the coaster featured most on the Discovery Channel.

Cedar Point has done more than an excellent job at theming Frontiertown. All of the rides and buildings...even the shows all follow the basic theming element of the Frontier Trail etc. To say they aren't a theme park may be accurate, but it does offer something of a presence of the past for those of us who would appreciate a little THEME Park in the world's best AMUSEMENT park.
Please no themes. I think two years after DT opened that Kinzel said that would be the last themed attraction. Frankly the Six Flags themeing doesn't add a thing to the ride experience and just confusion to the ride lists. Did I ride Batman the Ride, Superman the Experience, Batman's Revenge, or Super Chicken the Ride. At one time SF Astroworld (the worst of the SF parks) had 11 themed areas, almost one for each ride, if any of the rides were actually running.

I agree that the Frontiertown/trail area has some excellent themeing. It's even big enough IMHO to be a stand alone park. It has three roller coasters, three water rides, a car ride, a flat ride, a swan ride, two theaters, a petting zoo, arcade, and a bunch of fast food places, plus some sit down food places, make for a pretty decent park for just that one area. It really is all the themeing CP will ever need.

Florida may have Disneyworld and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

Yea, That is my favorite part of the park. Its so clam there. So many trees. Lets hope that they dont take those trees away for some other project later to come. But sooner or later, We can kiss those trees goodbye.
