You have to remember that these Dinosaurs things are usually a fad. I can't see them making it a permanent attraction. Maybe they knew that they needed to hold us over with SOMETHING new(ish) until the nest big thing.
I really don't see it lasting more than a couple years.
Also, KI has a 3D movie. Where would that go if CP has one?
EDIT: wicked twister beat me to it...
Okay so I have no idea if this will work or not but here might be the link to my mediocre drawing of Stinger.

Yeah, but Cedar Point doesn't seem to have much forest-like areas left to hide them in the same manner. I just think they'd seem to stick out anywhere at CP when compared to how KI has them.
That's why I say that our version of the walk thru will be smaller then theirs; which is expanding for next season if I'm not mistaken.
Has it ever been determined if Kings Island's Dinosaur Alive is a permanent attraction? Maybe all of those Dinosaurs are heading to Cedar Point next year, and the year after that (2013), they move to a different Cedar Fair park?

It's not permanent. But it will be there for a while. They have a pretty big contract with the creators of the attraction.
I like it. I don't think it will happen though:)
I really think that there is going to be a stratosoar. Maybe Dino alive link is a clue that it has something related to dinosaurs.

1. What's your source with that?
2. Could they have made a deal that if they add it to a second park it would lessen the amount of time the contract is valid?
I remember last year when the stratosaur name first cane out. Someone posted a link to the article or something. Is anyone able to find it?
Hahaha the trade mark is the reason I named it that...and no, I don't work for Cedar Fair, only in my dreams!
P.S. Does anyone know if there is a way to change your username? I created the minime thing when I was like 13 and it's kinda embarrassing now...

Yep, new account.
If they were to do a Dino attraction, I'd only visit once. But I'd have to wear an Allen Grant style cowboy hat and quote Jurassic Park lines the entire walk through the attraction. That's the only way I could personally enjoy something like that.
I went through one at the Detroit when I was young and I loved it. However that's not the case anymore as I'm 22. But of course that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be popular with the kids now-a-days.

Okay, so before I go eat and watch some Family Guy before bed I just want to say this...
Dear Cedar Point,
Please don't disappoint me.
Love, Michael

This is going to be like getting all excited Christmas eve and waking up to find a sack of coal.
And southpark > family guy

1. My source is some King Island fans. They say that there was a contract signed. Idk if it was with CF or KI. But then I guess any contract with KI is with CF anyway, seeing as they own KI.
2. That is very unlikely. And in business sense doesnt make sense. I would think the creators would want to add the attraction to more of the CF parks. So thats very unlikely.
