Cedar Fair's Monopoly!

^I thought that theory was shot down in another thread. Maybe it was over at coasterbuzz. X pretty much sits on flat land.

It was, and it does, except for the far end that Gomez's picture shows, near the station.

Batman, Canyon Blaster, Colossus, Deja Vu, Flashback, Goliath Jr., Goliath, Psyclone, Scream!, and Riddler's Revenge could all be relocated fairly easily, and it wouldn't take that much work to adapt X or Viper. That's 12 out of 17.

If you count parks, yes. If you count dollars, Six Flags isn't number 2, Cedar Fair (I think, maybe there's someone I'm missing) is. Of course, Disney is so far ahead of them its not even a race.

DBCP or Gomez, could someone who buys X just adjust the footers, making them taller to adjust to the differences? Just a thought, not an expert or anything.

Has SFMM had it's share of problems? Yes! But, should it be closed? No way. Fixing it's reputation will be difficult. But, regardless if the park's tarnished history, it's definately worth saving. I think that it'd be very sad if this park was closed, sold and made into a condo garden.

Those would be some tall footer extensions, but I'm sure another piece of steel could be manufactured, or a hill of a similar magnitude built on that one side.

^While unlikely I would love to see how they do it. Almost every coaster at SFMM is a terran coaster.

Isn't pretty much every coaster on the planet a Terran coaster? ;)

While it looks like it does, it is placed on a hill.

You could always make a man-made hill that tall or order longer supports......even though that would cost some $$$.

If CP coasters were monsters, how many hit dice would they have?

Okay, I know I'm gonna get flamed for this. But it was fun!

Is anybody concerened that CP might be going the way of Six Flags? When you look at the number of parks SF had and where CP is going for park numbers now, it's just a little unnerving.
