It wouldn't be at this time because of how much money they already had bought the Paramount parks for...
But if they were to buy any they SF parks they should only buy a couple of them so they can first get the attendence and life back into the parks first before buying the whole Franchise and taking the risk of being in debt if they would buy all of the parks at one time.
SF:OT it's in the south where they don't have anyother parks and we need a new coaster and a better all around atmosphere. Plus right across the street is Hurricane Harbor water park which they could change into another Soak City.
If anyone was wondering about Cedar Pointopoly when they came to this thread I can tell you it is a good game and I own it.
New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!
I also don't think CF has the money to make such a purchase at the moment, but if they did I could see them buying SFEG. It seems to have a good location, I'm not sure about the attendance, but from the pictures I've seen it looks to be a very nice park with lots of landscaping etc. The only thing about it is that there is no room for expansion.
As much as I would like to see CF buy SFMM, I'm not sure they would. Even if they hadn't of just bought the Paramount parks, SFMM would require a ton of money to bring it up to CF standards. I could see them buying it if they hadn't have aqcuired 1.2 billion dollars worth of parks, but I'd say theres no chance now. The money it would take after buying it could send CF down the same road as SF.
Thrills Around the Corner!
They'll never buy SFMM. Why would they? It's in the same market as KBF, much more so than, say, GL and CP. From a business perspective it makes absolutely no sense. The best thing that could happen to KBF is for SFMM to be sold for condominiums. (Not that I'm advocating this -- I hope to get to SFMM in August.)

Cedar Fair is begining to run into enough problems as it is. The last thing they need is any more parks, at this point. They seriously need to worry about their newly acquired parks as well as their present parks... as there is much worry about with the way I've seen things going over the last 3 or 4 years.

^I thought that theory was shot down in another thread. Maybe it was over at coasterbuzz. X pretty much sits on flat land.
While it looks like it does, it is placed on a hill.

I still think closing it and building condos is best. Then six flags can sell the coasters whole or sell pieces that can be used as replacement pieces for similar rides, and sell all other things to other parks, and auction off valuable memorable pieces. They could then use the money to work on their money problems.
