Castaway Bay Questions

Hey everyone,

I have a few questions and would appreciate any feedback.

I worked at Cedar Point this summer (May 5th-Nov2) and I have gotten a job at Castaway Bay for this winter. I am aware that before I hit 44 weeks of employment I have to take a continuous 8 weeks off in order to not be considered part time. These are my questions:

1. As of now I am currently not working because Castaway Bay is not open and was wondering if I could count this time off as my 8 weeks if I continue not to work until my 8 weeks are up?

2.Will I be able to still have my job at Castaway Bay even if I will not be returning as soon as it opens?

3. If I have to take the 8 weeks off later on down the road will I still be able to live in housing even though I technically will not be working?

Thank you for your time and answers. :)

As a girlfriend of someone who works at Castaway, they said you should direct those questions to your manager!!

Thanks for your response!! Do you happen to have the email of the person who is in charge of activities department? Like costume character, children activities.

No. Most Likely. and No

You have to be processed out (not just not working) completely (including housing) for 8 straight weeks.
