Looking into this a bit further, the reason Great Wolf Lodge is more pricey might be because all its rooms include a wet bar with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, telephone with voicemail & data port, and movies/Nintendo/WebTV in every room. Plus with fireplaces in some rooms at Great Wolf, you're automatically looking at paying extra money.
Some of CP's hotels include some of that stuff, but that Nintendo thing is extra I bet. And isnt a wet bar just a sink and counter?
A wet bar is a small refrigerator that is stocked with pop, miniature bottles of liquor, and candy/snacks. That stuff is horribly overpriced (think C.P. food stand pricing). Sometimes it's also referred to as an "honor bar"
OH! I know what your talking about now. Honor bar rings a bell. But still though, it's still extra.
I've got a two-nights-for-one coupon that was sent to unit holders. Still not sure if I'll take advantage of it, because we're planning to do Orlando in November, another vacation in January, and we're still on the fence about closing weekend.

You and walt have to go and get some sweet closing day pics like last year.

I'll be staying there a couple nights in December. Whee! (Hopefully the arcade at Castaway Bay is comparable to the one in the basement at Great Bear -- nothing beats 50-cent games of DDR on decent pads to wear you out for the evening).
