On the way back from a weekend getaway in Toledo, I stopped in at the Radisson to check out Castaway Bay. Not much to see because everything was covered in plastic sheets. There is only some cement work done on a few pillars. I asked the reservation clerk if I could book a room now for next year, and she said NO because they are in the middle of changing over their Radisson computer system to the CP reservation computer system. The Radisson name will no longer exist at that hotel. It will all be called Castaway Bay. They still don't have any prices yet. They are also remodeling some of their rooms to make family "suites" with a king size bed and bunk beds and more connecting rooms. They have lots of work to do by the Nov. opening.
