cars loaded on the track

I think that they might be actually loading the trains on TTD right now and are about to being testing. The reason I think of this is because all the webcams at Cedar Points webpage are all frozen not showing the actual date and time. Also on the Cleveland cam many trucks are driving by and they are also testing the Sky Ride. So right now I'm just waitin to see a black blur zoom up on TTD on the Cleveland cam!

Lets just hope that when they do test TTD that no new problems show up.

Just now notice the Cleveland cam is back up. The suspense is really rising. Don't you just love this time of year. The weather gets warmer, the leaves on the trees sprout, the flowers bloom, and the lawn mowers are back. I'm forget something, oh yeah the greatest place in the world is getting set to open for the new season!!

I have a question. Since those wheels on the trains are designed differently, both on the top and on the sides. How do they grip it on the track, the wheels?

The main running wheels are attached ridgidly. The guide and upstop wheels are connected on a pivot and held in place with a rubber pad. The following pictures show them at different angles.

It's pretty neat how that works. Thanks for telling me on that. It was always a mystery of how that worked.

I don't know if any of you noticed, but most of the trains in front of the load station are gone! There are about 2 cars left in the corner and thats it!

Mmmmm. Perl and Dragster. This thread rules.

I own you!

Thank you captain obvious, the blue train was put on the transfer days ago. You can see it on the webcam.

Could someone give me a link to the Cleveland.com cam. I can't find it for some reason. Thanks.
Looks like they took the link off of the cams+video page:

Thanks Brian.
why don't they just leave the trains in the matience bays for the winter that's what i think most parks do
That's what they were supposed to do, but unfortunately, all of the Matience Bays were removed because a new law was passed banning them (for safety reasons).

It was in a press release a while ago, I think. . .and on CNN or something like that.

"Hmm. . .we don't have anything like that. . .but I can give you this comment card."

They are putting the rest of the trains on today.

There is only one train that's not on the track.

I saw a train get launched (by chance) at about 3:15 today. However, it did rollback.

You know you're having a good day when you're looking at the green side of the grass and not the otherside.

Today nothing looks like it's going on. Maybe they're walking the track today. I still see one train sitting in the Station by the control booth.

I doubt much action would take place today as it appears to be super windy. You can tell in the live video feed by the NEW flags blowing on the midway.
