Agreed Shawn, I just really loved the theming; It gave the ride that special touch.

Why do you say that SteelMonsters?????:(

by the way, lets move this disscussion back to the dragster theming topic.

PLEASE CP, bring TTD's train themeing back!

Yep, looks like blue is ready to be loaded back onto the transfer track. Then Yellow, Then Green, Then red.....maybe not in that exact order.

I thought about it for a couple days and I was thinking they should think of a way to at least get the spoiler to stay on. I think that would look cool, but I was also thinking they should keep the two extra seats too.

What's that thing on the back of the blue now? I think it's the theming since that is the back train and it looks like a plastic bag to hide it from us stalkers. Keep your fingers crossed.
There was some sort of cart and/or stack of something there before the trains even came back, and I believe it is that, although I could be wrong.

Be pacient.

The cars will be on the track in no more than 34 days.

I think they probably put a couple on they probably just don't show it though.

What is the point of making up stuff that hasn't happened.

I talked to the trains yesturday, they said they didn't want to go on for another couple weeks.

Well, they have to be on before opening day.... The ride must be operated prior to the park opening, for state requirements. And the crew has to be trained.

I have a feeling they will be put on next week or the week after as that is when many people in ride operations will be processing in. It's not really important for the trains to be on now because no one will be there to operate the ride.

It looks like one of the cars is being dragged across the pavement, but I'm probably wrong.

I cannot wait for May 8th because Cedar Point opens, but I want June 9th to get here because I will be out of middle school forever!

They use Forklifts.

This is really early to be putting the trains back on. My guess is that Intamin is still working on the operation of the ride. The more I look at it, the less likely it seems they will be able to run 6 trains better than 5 without modifiieing the brake area to be a block. I hope thats is one of the things they are doing.

Yeahm with every updated refresh of the webcam, I see the crane go between the midway and the transfer/holding area. The fork lift has moved back and forth, and the cars are dissapearing in front of the station. I say all clues point to yes, today they did indeed.

Wouldn't it be cool if they were fixing it so both trains could roll out of the station together? Who knows what they are doing though.
I don't think it's all that early to be putting trains back on. If I remember, Magnum's were on before the end of March last year. I'm happy to see lots of activity at the park because quite frankly, the past few years, it seems like they have been cutting it really close in terms of being ready to open. And this year, they don't have that luxury of a "week off" after opening day to get things right if they aren't already.

As for running six trains, they're going to have to move them in pairs like they do at Millennium by dividing the stations up into smaller blocks (less than a full train length). I never saw this happen last yesr. Even their so called "dry" mode only moved them faster. The first train had to be all the way out of the station before the second one would even start moving up. Moving them faster is helpful, but it's probably not going to cut it because it takes forever for that last train out in the holding area to even start moving.

In theroy, all 6 trains should start moving on disptach. This isn't possible for a number of reasons. As of last year, the trains will bump into each other.

Having said that, the problem with 6 trains is that after dispatch, the train at the launch position has to wait for the train in hold 2 to clear. If the brake area was converted to a true block, then the train at launch would be able to immediatly launch.

To prevent a delay on the next dispatch, dry mode with multi-train movements needs to be enabled to get trains to load and unload as soon as possible after dispatch. It takes a certain amount of time to load and unload the trains, the larger of a window given, the better chance of hitting interval.

i noticed some thing on the web cam that the speakers were back out i ma not sure if they just put them out or they have been out all winter
Things are progressing nicely for opening day. Did anyone notice that the employee buses in the Breakers lot have been moved? They were idle all winter of course. We are getting close! Walt, didn't you have a countdown on your page last year?
