So, I just got hired this afternoon, and I can't wait to process-in on May 7th. This is my first summer at CP, and I will be working in Reservations. Which, I have heard is pretty cool. Anyone have advice? ...on anything..lol.
CP reality isn't reality. It may seem like it at the time, but it's not real.
Everyone you meet isn't your friend.
Don't get sucked into it, just be yourself and live your life.
i worked in reservations last summer. You sit in a cubicle all day in air conditioning, talking to dumb people. And by dumb I mean like the people that say a- as in apple, 2, x- as in zebra. yep. But it was fun, you can eat and do puzzles....
so why did I choose to work at famous dave's?
I've known tons of people in Reservations and they have all enjoyed it for the most part(it is one of the few jobs in the park that has the A/C cranked up). Their biggest complaint was very slow days (bring a book/crosswordpuzzles) and then very busy days. Plus, if your contract goes through Oct. you have the possibility of moving to the desk.
Also try and live in the hotel, its conveinent and inexpensive.
