Can Somebody tell me when and where we are able to apply?

I know it's sometime in January but I'm not sure when. I'm also not sure where(site)we are applying. Thanks in advance! When is the starting date? Do you recommend bringing your own transportation or just taking the bus if living off point?

The applications will probably be up in the next week or two they were up about January sixth last year. To apply you go onto the CP website and under the header for jobs there is a button for applying. I would suggest bringing your own transportation i used the bus my first summer and it was a real hassle because the bus is often late.

having a car is nice, but its really not that big of a deal since you'll most likely get to know a bunch of people with cars.

All Cedar Point managers are on vacation until January 5. Expect applications to become available the week of the 5th and interviews should start 3-4 weeks after that.

Thanks for the answers everybody! If we have to go to the park for interviews that kind of stinks.(Not that there are other ways of interviewing.) I might be going to college so I'm unsure about working at the point.(schedule wise)

Most of the interviews are done over the phone.

and by "interview" its really more of a "where do you want to work" kinda thing.

Gosh, in my interview, they asked me how I would deal with angry or rude guests, and a bunch of other related questions. I told them what they wanted to hear, but in reality I would have punched the guest in the face...(needless to say, I was red-flagged after my first season for leaving my contract 1 day early....still got my bonus though....woohoo!!)

I was told today by a manager the apps should be up between Jan 12-15. CP.com says Jan 12, but they also said late December before that.

I got an email from HR that said apps would be up after January 16th. The email looks like it was sent to everyone who applied in December when the apps were accidently put up.

Why do they keep moving the date?

yup I got this email as well :)

Well, today on Cedar Point's website in the Jobs section, it says "Apply now for the 2009 season" everywhere and give an active link to the application page. I can't see how that would be a mistake, but it's odd that they just randomly put that up.

They never know what they're doing. And even if they are up, there'll be probably be numerous problems, similar to last year.
