Can employees attend Coastermania?

I was wondering if employees are allowed to go to coastermania providing they are a card carrying member of a coaster club. I know I will probably be working during the day but after work is it ok to attend the ERT sessions? This year will be my first coastermania and would love to join in on the fun.
if you have that pass or whater ever. jammin went in 2000 and 2001. you have to be an acer. which is like $100 memeber ship. i think we all should get automatic acer memebership!lol
You do not have to be an "ACEr." Plus this has already been talked about elsewhere.

You can get a membership from the CoasterbuzzClub for like $20, and I have for the past two years. I put this day as the day I wanted off, so I sure hope I can get in...;)

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

I know i would like to have that off and party with friends. I look forward to that day.
live entertainment has a problem with...pretty much everything it seems...the best solution? get over it!

oops, then i was wrong. thats just what i was told. i never dug into it. i just worked them-just another day. and long hours
It just kind of worked out that I'm going to catch morning ERT, then go process in and stuff, catch the late night ERT, and have my dorm to go back to and start work the next day. Any volunteers to help move me in ;)?

Hehe I have a problem with everything?

Hmmm or just incorrect information.

And it looks like DJDJ admitted that he was misinformed, which is a LOT more than some people do.

Have a spectacular day! :)

I used to get to at least on of the ERTs when I worked in foods and the last couple of years that I worked at the Point during Coastermania I asked for the day off.
If you are an employee cant you get in any day of the year anyway?(providing you have the day off) I would not see y you would need a coaster club card

Because you need the card to get the wristband that allows you into the Q&A and the ERT's.

Q&A is a question and answer session with either one of the big wigs of Cedar Point/Cedar Fair or in recent years Intamin executives. ERT is Exclusive Riding Time...well it's supposed to be. At CoasterMania, it's generally EXTENDED riding time. :)

I thought they used those Buttons to tell who could Ride? In 2001 we found a Button on the Ground and some marketing guy gave me a button and we went on Magnum Rides at night. It was all cool because my roommate was all about rollercoasters, he had such a good time talking to the "Coaster Dorks" ACERs in line. I didn't pay attention in 2002, but I didn't know they changed it.
They are really for both. For the most part they are so that they can distinguish the ERT riders from normal guests.

June 4th Doug.....

So if your an employee, have that day off, and are a member of a club, you would just show them your employee ID to get your Coaster Mania badge right? Just like you would if you had a season pass?
