Campus Ambassadors

Any Campus Ambassadors out there have any ideas on how to create huge interest in Cedar Point employment?

Thats pretty vague question. We are given large amounts of posters table tents, and stuff in that nature. Those get the people's attention. We also hold dorm talks and set up tables at the Student Union, as well as given out contact info and making ourselves available for questions. The word speads pretty fast.

Nashmire is right, have a lot of information meetings, dorm talks, whatever to spread the word, find out when your school is having their job fair and advertise as much as you can before hand. Talk to everyone you can, don't advertise too far in advance because the level of interest will decrease by the time the job fair starts but start a few weeks before and have some of the meetings then and tell everyone to stop by the table or tent to at least see what we have to offer. Get as many some former employees together and have discussions explaining the variety of jobs, the people they meet, and the social life that is available.

Here are some ideas. Tell them you work 20 hours a week and get paid for 40. Never work Past your shift. And all there friend get in for free.

Seriously if you tell them they are working 80+ hours a week never get out when your shift is up, and all the other things you just sorta uncover it turns off alot of people...

Thats just what i here from people who ask me.

If I were to do that then you would have to lie to some poor individual and tell them that my position is all of those things.

You want to promote your stuff in the dorms? Signs on the back of bathroom stall doors. Nothing works better than a captive audience on the crapper!
