Thanks Jeff, for making me remember Kid Arthur's Court. But out of curiosity how was it setup as in safety wise? Was it overkill or decent? How did the safety on the present day model as compared to CP's?
Cause I can only imagine some of the non-sense safety issues in today's society and lack of common sense. LOL (i.e. McDonald's coffee woman. LOL)
It was just a bunch of climbing nets that you'd find anywhere else, including some of the play structure at Castaway Bay.

Kid Arthur's Court featured a couple of ball crawls (not sure if there are sanitary issues nowadays about such things, I thought that's why Toontown at Disneyland lost its ball crawl long ago) and a maze on the first level. The net climb took you up to the second level which featured a tunnel structure very much like a typical McDonald's Playland. I recall the the older nets being switched out somewhere in the later years with nets that were woven more tightly, but I might be remembering that wrong.

Anyone else notice in the artwork the Tilt-A-Whirl had Trabant artwork instead of a Tilt-A-Whirl? I wonder if they ever planned on getting a Trabant or maybee moving Schwabinchin up there?
Some of my fondest childhood memories of Cedar Point involve Kid Arthur's Court. And, to a lesser extent, Berenstain Bear Country.

I wonder why there were so many changes. Probably the coaster replaced the flume because this was back in the 1990s and the CP wanted to increase their coaster count. WE is a great family coaster however. It does look like their balloon race ride was to look like pumpkins. And it does look like a drawing of Schwabinchen was inlcuded there. I am assuming major retheming would have had to be done. Boobs in a kiddie area?
I always wondered how the Tilt-a-Whirl got included in this. It's a nice ride and i get good spin action on it but it has nothing to do with Peanuts as does the Lolli swing.
I wouldn't be surprised that they decide to give the area an update in the future and maybe some of the original plans may come back.
Themeing in Camp Snoopy could be a lot better. Placing a few generic flats down and sticking a few signs around them that make them seem themed was not the way to go about it. Peanuts Playground was another very generic attempt to transfer the area from the Berenstain Bears franchise to the Peanuts franchise, and it was not very well put together. Planet Snoopy was a GIANT step in the right direct in the terms of theme. Many of the rides in that area are very well themed and look genuine to the theme.
