I have NEVER had a problem checking in early. But I don't visit during the peak of the season, either.

I've never stayed at lighthouse point, but I may this year. So what's best if I'm by myself? Do they have air conditioning?

I don't think Lighthouse Point would be a good choice if you're traveling on your own. That would be quite expensive.

Albert,

I'm not sure on the hours of the pool, but I think it's open until 11pm. No lockerrooms, no showers (at the pool), there is a hot tub. It is a VERY nice place to relax after being to the park!

Are they open in May? We're going on the 14-17th, and I hope so, so that will give us something to do since the park closes at 7!

I thought there was a restroom building right by the pool? No?

New question about Lighthouse Point... One: If you are staying at Lighthouse Point can you use other onsite resort pools? ex: at Disney if you are staying at hotel A, you can also go to hotel B to swim

Sad to see Mr Scott's friendly advice currently unavailable. As far as I know, only guests of the resort in question are able to use said resort's facilities. I think you will find LHP's facilties sufficient.

I have never stayed at any of the hotels and yet I have swam in the pools with no problems. Its nice to take a dip in the lake and then hop in the pools at Hotel Breakers.

I have stayed at Camper Village and used the hotel pool and beach at Sandcastle. The last time I was there the beach at Breakers was in bad shape and it was off limits to guest's. Sediment from the bottom of the lake washed up to the beach. I believe it is due to lower eater levels of the lake.

Just an FYI - at Disney If you are staying at hotel A you CANNOT go to hotel B to swim execpt for a very few execptions.
