I suspect we may see the Thunderbolt go, w/ bumper cars replacing. It's a bigger site with more wiggle room and no water ride right next door. Also, there was a 'new install next year' sign next to it, on a 10' x 60' area, which is dinky.
"What's your point," you ask. That happened about five years ago, and we still call the remaining cafeteria Dining Commons 1. For shortening purposes, we call it DC1, (or Sleazy 1 of we're tired of the slop they serve).
Attaching a number to signify that a similarity is there and leaving it once one of them is gone seems a bit odd, but it can help induce a bit of historic trivia and add to some urban legends. Cedar Point can always use that as an excuse to spout out random inside jokes during their shows which only the die-hard fans of CP will understand.

I'm working on it, Jeeze!!
(Which ought to be called "Dodgem III" in the style of the Mine Ride train numbering scheme...remember CCMR has Trains #2, 3, 4, and 5 on the track.)

Ok, so I have 403 laps on ST, but I would give it all to have CP as my home park.
And for what it's worth, the Dodg'em, when moved to MIA, may become Dodg'em II as well. The Zoomer bathrooms are where the original MIA Dodg'ems were.
