Well this was my our (me and my dad) first trip in a year, we didn't go last year. My dad could only go on the weekend, so we picked the weekend after the 4th. We left our house here in Cincinnati at 4:30am and headed up north on 1-71 up to Route 6, then got off at Ohio turn pike. Must have made a wrong turn after getting off the turn pike, we wanted to go up 250, but got off an exit to soon at 4. After driving up 4 and finding signs to 250, we got back on our road and headed up to McDonald's for a quick breakfast. Travel time just about four hours, and around 220 miles.
It is always a nice sight to see Cedar Point in the morning! Got the parking lot and ate our quick breakfast there, and heading to the main gate. By now it was 9:05 so ERT had already started, we rode Raptor first with only a one train wait, then headed to Millennium Force. The line even before 10am was a 30 min wait, it was worth it in the morning having not rode it last year. Then went over to Mantis, I think its an ok ride not my favorite. We stood towards the back, and was not beat up, or the G's didn't feel higher as they always do back there. I got close to graying out coming out of the dive loop.
Maverick was next right at about 10am it already had a 48 min wait, it was a ok ride a bit rough on my neck, then we rode Gemini, Magnum, then Skyride back to the front of the park, to then change at our Van and eat half of a five dollar footlong from subway. We headed back in at 2:45 and headed to the back towards Shoot the Rapids, the line was out on the path, with the turn styles were filled up. With a 10 min break down the wait was an hour 20 min's, by far the longest I've ever waited for a water ride. It was a ok flume but not worth an hour, we didn't ride Snake River Falls, it had a full line. So we went over to Thunder Canyon, first time on this, line was only 15 min's. I really liked it, the water falls get you soaked big time! :)
Then we headed back to the Van to change, and headed back in. Rode Space Spiral to take a picture of the parking lot, WOW! There was even quite a few buses to.

Sunday,
About the same, got up at 7:30 went to McDonald's, then headed to the park, Rode Raptor first, then The Force, didn't see Maverick running so we headed to Skyhawk, that ride is always fun. Then over to Maverick, waited 40 min's and the ride was a bit rough on my neck, just seems like the train's are traveling to fast though the turns, so for me I'm 6'1" my neck is at the shoulder restraint level, so going though the turns my head gets wiped left and right. I used to like it but don't not really care for it!
Then we rode the Paddle Wheel, then ate at Happy Friar. Then got on Magnum, and walked to the front of the park for Wicked Twister, a 30 min wait and go the front seat. Then headed over the Power Tower, the launch side didn't have a line most of the weekend. Walked over the Space Spiral, and then got the Train for two laps to rest. Then went over to Gemini and rode both sides, and rode Magnum two times. Then over to Iron Dragon, and Mantis, then over to Top Thrill Dragster. Half the line was fulled up but only a 40 min wait. Then back to Magnum, Gemini, Rail Road, then finished the night off with three rides on Millennium Force. The sky was clear, you could see the stars perfectly at the top!
