Busses?

I heard that there is a bus that employees can take for free to get around town near Cedar Point . Is this true? Where does the bus go? Does it go to any gyms (i heard the rec center is a 'glorified weight room', i want a REAL gym!!)?

the CP shuttle busses will take you to wal-mart, the mall, and meijers i believe? don't quote me, but they won't drop you off at a gym, maybe one of the gyms is in walking distance to one of those places - but i'm not too familiar with where they are located! the "gym" in the rec center is yeah, not all that. i think half of it was "out of order" while i was there last season anyways, but it's better than nothing .. i guess. or, im pretty sure you'll be able to find a ride from somebody to get to a gym if the problem is you don't have transportation!

I believe there is (or at least was) a bus that goes downtown a couple times each day as well. Although most of your shopping will be on the Walmart/Mall run.

yea there is a bus that goes downtown. make sure you DO NOT take the last bus to wal mart or the mall or whatever because you will be stranded there and have to bum a ride from someone you recognize or call public transportation. just speaking from experience :) most people take those busses and walk to wherever they want to go if they don't have a car.

yea, i think its a gym nearby in walking distance, but if you cant get a ride they have cabs that take you there it probably be like 5 dollars per person, i didnt mind taking a cab, its way cheaper, than in michigan, but the busses to take you to the main spots walmart/mall ect, but its your responsibility to go else where.
