Bus trips?

I was told that the Cedar Point employees are offered different bus trips each summer to go on. Where have you been? Also, where are the bus trips to this summer? Sure hoping for Niagra Falls!

Kings Island was one of them. I'm not too sure about Niagra Falls though. Just make sure when you find out the dates of the bus trips and you really wanna go, that you request off those days immediately.

I doubt they would do niagra falls since you need a passport now.

They have definitely gone to Niagara Falls in the past, although they may have just stayed in New York.

On the website Niagara Falls, New York City, and Chicago are the locations listed for bus trips. It doesn't list them all though. I would love to go to Niagara Falls and Kings Island. Kings Island is a great park, one of my favorites.

Okay lets put it this way, They do have the bus trips, however most of the time internationals fill them up, since it usually their first time to the country and they want to go see places. In my opinion, Kings Island is a waste of money for the bus trip and you're better off getting a group of friends and driving down.

How much does a typical tip cost? I imagine it varies by trip.

I think they're typically in the 25-70 dollar range? I could be way off though haha.

Yeah that sounds cheaper than I expected. However if that price range is correct that is great!

Still cheaper to carpool with someone who has a car IMO ;)

I'm planning one or two trips to KI and Kennywood this season. Maybe even a boat ride to CW (depending if that kind of thing even exists (get your passports ready).

I have never been to Canada's Wonderland. I hear they have some pretty cool coasters.

Canada's Wonderland would be so fun!

Went there last year. It's doable :) We drove there after an O-6, stayed the night in Toronto, went to the park the next day. The following day, we left around 5 am and got back to CP at about 12:30, just in time for our 1:30 shifts. Customs took foreeeeevvvvvvvvvvver. If I could do it all over again, I'd get a hotel along the way to split up the drive instead of making that long haul in one trip.

I would love a day trip to Cleveland for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Hard Rock Cafe.

It's a long long drive... which is why I was thinking there has to be some kind of ferry boat of some sort to just shoot across Erie and get us close enough for a bus or something...

For sure worth researching.

Wait do they do tips to Canada's Wonderland? I really want to ride Leviathan. Although I imagine it might be a pain with the boarder.

I assume going by water would be the same as going by land. I'm sure there is some ferry somewhere the great lakes are know for that :) Boat should take us from CP to Toronto then take a city bus north to CW.

I'm still researching i'll post here if I ever find an answer.

A boat can't take you from CP to Toronto, especially when Toronto is located near a totally different lake ;) Sandusky: Lake Erie. Toronto: Lake Ontario.

They may be different lakes but there is a canal that connects all the great lakes. I can't think of the name of it right now. Not sure if you can take a boat to Toronto though. Not sure why you would when car would be much faster.
