Buck Skinner gone?

I was watching videos of paddlewheel from last year and it looks like Buck Skinner and the cabin beside it has been removed and the hillybillys shooting at eachother replaced them to make way for shoot the rapids...this makes me sad because those two displays were my favorite...do u guys think they would return? like muddy waters?

Not sure. There have been rumors that paddlewheel might be leaving.

Buck was taken out when Shoot the Rapids went in. What I want to know is, how are we suposed to know what the price of fur is now?!

I'm just surprised the Buck didn't make a Halloweekends appearance last year.

It's the same as it has been for a while... Real good!

I swear I thought I saw him when I went to CP back in June...

Why not just add him on as scenery to STR? It makes sense to me.

For that matter, if Paddlewheel Excursions is going to be retired (and that's a big if), why not reuse as many of the animatronics as possible and turn a mediocre to decent ride into a pretty good one.

Because those animatronics are so outdated.

Come to think of it, that's a pretty good reason. :)

I'm hoping they can update them. They probably still wont be anything spectacular. But I bet it would still be better than what is there now.

I was on the train this past Wednesday and I swear that they fixed some of the audio to the skeletons. Can anyone else say that the audio is much more clear now than it was a month ago?

Speaking of the train; when on the ride, is there a soundtrack playing like there used to be? I thought that was a nice touch. I think the CP Railroad used to do this, but I wish there was a spiel giving information about the park will riding. Busch Gardens does that and it is a very nice touch; they even give facts about the motor coach.

I don't think I would want a spiel on the Railroad, but that's just me...

I don't ever remember there being a soundtrack on the CP railroad, but then again, I am only 17. So anything before age 8 I don't really remember that well.

If there was once music playing on the ride, I think they should definitely put it back on. The skeletons are a nice park of the ride, but the ride into Frontier town isn't that all exciting because well, there is nothing there. The only interesting things you pass are Millenium and Maverick. So if they were to add music for just the ride into Frontier town, I think it would spice things up a bit.

When I was on the train last they were repeating some railroad song over and over again. It got pretty annoying.

Well they wouldbtneed to play the same song..

i wonder what happened to Buck? if hes in storage or they just threw him away...
