Breakdowns, but still got everything in (long)

I arrived on the morning of the 29th and went into the park through the Magnum entrance. Magnum was closed for mechanical problems so I went on. Corkscrew was also closed so I went around and got in line for Mantis. After a great first ride of the day I went back over to Magnum which was open. I rode once then went and checked on TTD status, they, like always had no idea when or if it would open. I took another Magnum run (the wait was low). After that I met with my group and then left them and did a Millenium ride. THe wait was about hour and 15 minutes. I was getting annoyed and went back to TTD and they said it would more than likely open that night, but no garuntees. After that I went and got a mantis freeway (I missed one for Millenium) for 7-8. I rode corkscrew 3 times and then went and rode Gemini. I decided to head to the front of the park, where I hit Raptor and Wicked Twister. WT was a long wait because it kept getting stuck before the station and they had to test it after they brought it back in. I rode the skyride, then did a witches wheel. Magnum was closed for mechanical reasons so I did an up Power Tower which was pretty good, better than I remembered from last year. Magnum was still closed so I planted myself at the front and sure enough, in 10 minutes I walked in and got very last car. It was starting to get dark and I was heading over to Raptor and WT but turned around for Millenium. After about an hour I was off of an awesome ride (I noticed the pipe thinning on the first bank) and headed to the speedzone. It was pretty late and the rides had closed, it was about 10:15, and I picked up a poster.

That night I stayed at Sandcastle, which is pretty nice. We were provided with our early entrance passes and I went to sleep like a rock. I woke up and got in line at about 8:30 for the magnum entrance.

At 9:00 I made a mad dash for Millenium force, got on in 5 minutes, then again in a half hour, then the line was long so I did 2 power towers. 2 Millenium and 2 Power Tower before 11. Magnum was closed again so I went to the front of the park for my yearly Demon Drop. I was next in line and the dang thing breaks down. WT was also down. WT, TTD, Maggie and Demon Drop, all closed. It wasn't bad, by the time I got back Corkscrew was a walk on so I did 3. Magnum was still down so I said "hey, I want to ride TTD, Ive been waiting all year. So I sat down at the very front of the line (there was no line yet) for an hour and a half. Nothing was happening so I went and did a front seat Magnum. When I got back They were about to start testing! I was so excited, but I had lost my spot in line. It did'nt matter, The line was only back to the grandstand so I was OK. After waiting and watching the testing, and the line go farther back in the park than I could ever imagine, I WAS IN LINE! By 3:30 I was off of the Dragster. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! I had been on it last year but nothing can prepare you for the rush of that ride. After I was done the line still went well past Power Tower so I went with my Dad on Millenium Force. We had to leave, I did a couple power towers and that was it. WHat a great trip CP RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i dont go again till next year as I live in Oregon (sniffles)

Sounds like a great trip, but how did you enter the line for PT and MF after 3:30?

by walking. it was pm not am, i was off the dragster at 330 pm, so i did millenium and PT.
